Why did I not express my outrage after your excellent reports of secret aid to Iraq? Because I felt helpless and discouraged about fighting so many “secret” activities the government did not want me to know about--plans to overthrow people and governments, to transfer monies, to hide errors, etc. I did thank Rep. Henry Gonzalez (D-Tex.) for his investigations.
