Auburn expects to receive a letter from the NCAA within two weeks detailing the investigation into alleged rule violations in the football program, Coach Pat Dye told the team. Dye met with his players Monday, the same day he acknowledged in an interview that Auburn had violated NCAA rules and said he had no plans to resign.

The Oklahoma State wrestling program was hit hard by the NCAA, which banned the Cowboys from postseason competition this season and eliminated new scholarships for this school year and next.
