Viratek Inc.: The Costa Mesa company, which develops and licenses pharmaceutical compounds, posted a third-quarter profit of $1.5 million, or 10 cents a share, up 15% from $1.3 million, or 9 cents a share, for last year’s third quarter. Revenue increased 58% to $1.9 million from $1.2 million. For the first nine months of 1992, Viratek reported earnings of $3 million, or 21 cents a share, on revenue of $4.2 million. For the corresponding 1991 period, income totaled $2 million, or 14 cents a share, on revenue of $2.7 million.
