USC tailback Dwight McFadden, who ran for 30 yards in 19 carries against Stanford in his first start, will start again Saturday against Arizona at the Coliseum, Smith said. . . . Offensive guard Clay Hattabaugh underwent knee surgery this week and will be out for the rest of the season. Offensive tackle Keith Siscel underwent shoulder surgery and also will miss the rest of the season. . . . Arizona has allowed only 155 yards rushing during its last six games. . . . USC has lost to Stanford in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1970-71. . . . Arizona’s No. 9 ranking this week is its highest since Sept. 26, 1983, when the Wildcats were ranked third.
