Philadelphia’s “Crazy Eights” line of Lindros, Mark Recchi and Brent Fedyk has 29 points in the last three games.

Chicago 2, Minnesota 1--Chris Chelios’ 40-foot slap shot with 6:02 to play gave the Blackhawks the victory at Chicago and moved them into first place in the Norris Division.

Chelios’ goal came after Jeremy Roenick had scored to pull the Blackhawks into a 1-1 tie. Ed Belfour, beaten, 3-0, by Minnesota Saturday night, stopped 15 of 16 shots Sunday.

Chelios, skating up the middle, took a pass from Christian Ruuttu and shot without losing stride. The puck skimmed under goaltender Jon Casey’s pads for Chelios’ fifth goal of the season.
