Right Is Denied
I’m still appalled (that) a polling precinct in Mission Viejo ran out of ballots and people were turned away (“Election Glitches: Ballots Run Out, Street Is Closed,” Nov. 4), and a young man I know never received the opportunity to vote before going to work. The media let it be known that a large voter turnout was expected, so I ask, what happened here?
It has been said many times that just one vote could make a difference. Am I alone at feeling outraged at this important right being taken from us? I have no idea how many people were denied their American right. This issue needs to be addressed and never again repeated.
