Burr Singer, 79, a portraitist and lithographer whose works were included in an exhibition of prints at the Library of Congress in 1983 and who began exhibiting in the late 1930s and early ‘40s at the San Francisco and New York worlds fairs. Her work, which during one period of her life centered on circus themes, has been shown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, San Francisco Museum and galleries throughout Los Angeles, where she had lived since the early 1970s.
