LION & THE COWARD: Two weeks ago, when PGA long knocker John Daly drove the green on a 320-yard par four, fellow pro Fuzzy Zoeller gave an awe-struck pose. When Zoeller, who used to be the tour’s longest hitter, did not even try his driver, Daly quipped: “Coward!” Zoeller’s comeback: “It’s not a shot you try after you turn 40.” The Fuzzy and John Show comes to Orange County Jan. 2 and 3, when they’ll play in a foursome event at Dove Canyon Country Club. It will be their last warm-up before the start of the ’93 tour.
