Can Do, Can Do: The shows “A Chorus Line,” “Forever Plaid” and “Perestroika” are spreading some Thanksgiving cheer. The Shubert Theatre is offering half-price tickets for Thursday’s performance of “A Chorus Line” to people who bring non-perishable food to the box office to be donated to AIDS Project Los Angeles. APLA will also benefit from food and household items brought to the box office at the Mark Taper Forum for Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s performances of “Perestroika,” the second part of “Angels in America”; in exchange patrons can buy two tickets for the price of one. And half-price tickets to this week’s showings (except Thanksgiving Day, on which there will be no performance) of “Forever Plaid” at the Canon Theatre will go to those who bring canned goods to be given to Project Angel Food.
