The Monterey Park Historical Museum will unveil a one-room addition Sunday.
Called the Maude Kidd Room, the addition is named after an early settler and longtime resident of the city. Displays in the new space will include artifacts from the city’s early days. The city was incorporated in 1916.
Dedication ceremonies are scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum, 721 S. Orange Place.
