* Bob Merlis has been named senior vice president and director of media relations for Warner Bros. Records.
In his new capacity, Merlis will continue to direct all aspects of Warner Bros./Reprise Records’ publicity operations, both in Burbank and New York.
Previously, Merlis, who joined Warner Bros. in 1975, was vice president and director of publicity.
