SAN DIEGO : Ton of Marijuana Found in Apartment
San Diego narcotics detectives seized more than one ton of marijuana and $2,520 in cash from a Pacific Beach apartment after serving search warrants on the residence.
The six-week investigation ended Thursday with the seizure of the drugs in the 3700 block of Riviera Drive. The marijuana was discovered in black nylon bags in an apartment closet and in plastic bundles in a garage storage closet. A small safe and scales believed to be used to weigh drugs were also found.
No suspects have been apprehended in the case.
