Thoughts on Baja

I enjoyed the Christopher Reynolds-Patrick Downs Nov. 8 feature-photos (“What a Long, Strange Drive It’s Been”) on the Baja Highway. We traveled that scenic road in our motor home the first two years it was open. In those days we swore the Baja Highway was not really a highway, only painted-to-look-blacktop over sand and rocks.
