Compromise to Clear Air

Are we homeowners contiguous to the airport to believe that the airport’s financial “benefit” to the community nullifies our right to enjoy the use of our homes? The commission, the FAA and pilots miss our major concern: unnecessary noise.

Coexistence demands compromise by all parties. Are we homeowners expected to tolerate excessive noise, the odor of jet fuel, disruption of peace and quiet, for the economic benefit of others with no concession on their part?

Why should we allow them to benefit economically when their inconsiderate, unbridled practices cause our property values to drop and our right to enjoy our homes to evaporate?
