SANTA MONICA MOUNTAINS : Park Service Offers Free List of Events
The National Park Service is offering visitors to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area a free winter activities schedule, Park Service officials have announced.
The calendar covers January through March, 1993, and lists events ranging from bird walks and full moon hikes to volunteer trail building days. Educational activities include art exhibits and classes and demonstrations on the natural and cultural history of the Santa Monica Mountains.

The calendar may also be obtained by calling (818) 597-9192, or at the visitor center on Agoura Road, open Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
