Abbott Is in Big Apple: Angel Fans Say They Are Left With Worms

I recently read that Buck Rodgers was quoted as saying, “12 organizations came up to me and said, ‘You guys made a hell of a deal.’ ” Well, here’s a message for the Angels: If those 12 other teams thought that trading Jim Abbott was such a hot idea, let those 12 teams buy Angels season tickets. I personally know of four that will be available. Mine.
