Bryan Twins Win 1st-Round Tennis Matches
Bob and Mike Bryan, 14-year-old twins from Camarillo, each won first-round matches in the Orange Bowl International tennis championships Friday at the University of Miami Tennis Center in Coral Gables, Fla.
Bob Bryan, seeded ninth, beat Sami Sidia of Sweden, 6-0, 6-3. Bryan will play Radolfo Rake of Peru in a second-round match today. Mike Bryan, seeded 10th, was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Revel Henry of Barbados and today will play Eric McColloch of North Carolina.
Registration for the Southern California Roller Hockey League will be held at Encore Sports in Woodland Hills today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 15.
