Nimitz School Principal Wins Round of Applause
I would like to commend you for highlighting an individual of Lupe Simpson’s caliber. She is one administrator who is concerned with students. She is also concerned with enabling parents to become involved with their children’s education.
As a parent I have been made to feel welcome. I am a member of the parent committee and have been invited to participate in several seminars of the Achievement Council (a group concerned with the future directions of education).
As a Native American, I have approached Simpson with concerns of the Native American community, and she has gone out of her way to accommodate us.
