A Child Shall Lead Them: Nickelodeon is setting a plan in motion to bring together youngsters from around the United States once a year to discuss issues that affect their lives. The cable channel Monday announced that the initial Kids World Council will be held April 16-18 at the Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Fla., and that the topic will be the environment. There will be at least 50 delegates, 30 to be chosen through a national essay contest in the Scholastic teacher’s guide and 20 representing young people’s environmental groups.
