PLATFORM : Sin Is No Civil Right

DOROTHY MANN of Lake Forest (formerly El Toro) in Orange County believes that many Americans support the stand that Colorado voters have taken on homosexual rights but are hesitant to speak out. In her view, the vote was consistent with American principles. She told The Times:

The Founding Fathers set the course for this country by patterning our Constitution and Bill of Rights according to the truths and principles set forth by God in the Bible. Hence, we the people of the United States have enjoyed unsurpassed abundance and freedom, making our nation one of the greatest places in the world to live.

At what point, then, can we honestly change courses and declare “sin” a civil right? This is nothing more than pure deception and we must not swallow it. Logically, where will this take our nation? Will incest, bestiality, etc., become acceptable in the modern America?

This course must change. Let’s see things for what they really are. Let’s seek healing for homosexuality, not dignify it by calling it a “civil right.”

If we want our country to continue to be great, we must be unwavering in our commitment to carry out the steadfastness on principle and truth that our Founding Fathers which shaped this nation. “ . . . and now, class, it’s time to talk about the bees and the bees! “
