Euro Disneyland Trims Entry Fee

PARIS — Euro Disney SCA, operators of the Euro Disneyland theme park outside Paris, are offering substantial entry fee discounts to try to attract residents of the Paris region, the company said Friday.
Euro Disney had said it would not offer discounts despite its notable difficulty in attracting visitors from the Paris area. Stock analysts have sharply criticized the company for that policy.
The amusement park said in November that it lost $35.8 million in the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, and was unlikely to show a profit in 1993.
The lower fees, $28.30 for adults and $19 for children under 12, are available by mail, Euro Disney said. Standard fees are $42.45 for adults and $28.30 for children under 12.
