The public is invited to attend a display of the latest in military equipment and technology from the nation’s leading defense firms this week at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
The list of firms participating in the annual event reads like a “who’s who” of industry giants: Boeing and Litton Data Systems are represented, as are General Dynamics, Hughes Aircraft and General Motors. More than 50 companies in all plan to show something.
Everything from deadly weapons to sophisticated communications systems will be on display. Officials said the event will showcase the kind of equipment the Marines plan to use.
The exhibit will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the base. For more information, call (714) 726-2937.
