Kingdom Day Parade

Monday’s Kingdom Day Parade begins at 11 a.m. at Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Jr. boulevards and ends at Menlo and 39th streets. Grand marshals will be Assemblywoman Juanita M. McDonald (D-Carson) and Channel 2 sportscaster Jim Hill. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed to traffic and parking from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The judges’ reviewing stand will be at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Bronson Avenue.

Registration and parade assignments will be at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Marlton Avenue.

The parade will feature 8,000 participants (including 30 movie and TV stars), 20 floats, 16 bands and 30 drill teams.
