FOUNTAIN VALLEY, WESTMINSTER : Sobriety Checkpoint on Brookhurst St.

The Fountain Valley and Westminster police departments will conduct a sobriety checkpoint tonight from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The checkpoint will be near the border of both cities on Brookhurst Street south of Edinger Avenue. Throughout this year, Fountain Valley police will conduct sobriety checkpoints each month as part of the city’s effort to discourage drunk driving.
Motorists who drink and drive face a minimum 96 hours in jail, $390 fine and six-month driver’s license suspension.
