I think it’s about time that the schools started teaching ethics in the classroom. It used to be that the parents taught their kids proper ethics at home. But today, because of so many reasons (divorce, single parenting), proper ethics do not get taught to children. The sad thing is that what children do learn at home is usually learned from TV. I am not blaming a lack of ethics as a lack of proper upbringing in the home. Most of society today have a lack of ethics. We can already see the fallout from a lack of ethics being taught to kids in the current generation. Society as a whole today seems so much louder, prouder and ruder than generations in the past. I definitely feel we need to get back to ethics here in America. This is supposed to be the land of “In God We Trust.” But we don’t, and most of the time we don’t even trust our neighbors.
