Parents nowadays are too busy working and paying bills and worrying if their children are being prepared for life. They do not have the time to teach morals and ethics. Parents think that because their children have a house and food on the table that this is enough for them to grow up to be “good adults.”

Lately, too many kids are involved in crimes such as drive-by shootings, shoplifting and other unethical things. If a teacher has the opportunity to teach students the morals and ethics they need to succeed in life, the students can be more prepared for the real world. This is because a teacher has been a success in life and has more things to offer than parents, who are usually working in factories because they have little or no education. What can they (parents) offer to a student who wants to succeed in life?
