MADD Activist Killed by Alleged Drunk’s Car

BROCKTON, Mass. —
A woman who was active with Mothers Against Drunk Driving was killed in a collision with an allegedly drunk driver.
Margaret Jones, 60, was killed Sunday. Albert Pomerleau Jr., 32, of West Bridgewater, was charged with drunk driving and negligent homicide, police said. He was released on bail pending an arraignment today.
