Virginia Is 11-0, but Only Ranked No. 7
Virginia (11-0), the nation’s only undefeated NCAA Division I school, is only ranked No. 7 in this week’s Associated Press college basketball poll despite winning at Duke for the first time in 10 years on Sunday.
The Cavaliers were ranked No. 14 last week.
In the poll released on Monday, Kansas (14-1) is ranked No. 1, moving up from No. 4 after winning three games last week.
Kentucky, Michigan and Duke--the former Nos. 1-3--each lost a game last week. Duke (12-2) went from No. 3 to No. 6.
Cal State Long Beach (12-1) was ranked No. 25, two spots below UCLA.
