People like A.N. Wilson (“Jesus: A Life,” Dec. 20) and Gore Vidal (“Live From Golgotha”) take themselves so seriously that they would dare to rewrite the Bible.

Wisdom can come only from God, and the Bible tells us that those who think they are wise without God become utter fools themselves.
