3D Systems Announces Distribution Agreements

3D Systems Inc. in Valencia said it has signed agreements to have its products distributed in Hong Kong, China and the former Soviet Union.

3D makes devices that employ a laser, computer and chemicals to rapidly produce plastic-like models that companies use to make prototypes and models of their finished goods. 3D is the U. S. subsidiary of 3-D Systems Inc., a Canadian concern.

The company said it signed one distribution pact with Asia Info Sciences Corp. (H.K.) Ltd., a Hong Kong-based firm that will market the system in Hong Kong and China. The other agreement was signed with Magistral, a distributor based in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. 3D also has set up a demonstration center in Minsk.
