Sen. Streisand? Not!: Singer-actress-director Barbra Streisand denied a published report Tuesday that said she might add “senator” to her titles. “Running for the senate is out of the question,” Streisand said after the New York Post printed a story suggesting just the opposite. “There should be no confusion between someone with political passion and someone with political ambitition.” Streisand said her planned film about AIDS “and everybody’s right to love can probably do more to affect positive change than running for office.” The Post attributed its information to “an unnamed high-place Democratic source.”
