U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth agreed to transfer an antitrust case, led by Kansas City Chief defensive back Albert Lewis, to federal Judge David Doty in Minneapolis so that Doty can conclude a settlement in the five-year labor dispute between the NFL and its players.
But Lamberth held off transferring another suit, originally brought by Minnesota Viking tight end Mike Tice and 10 other players.
