Sure Bite: David Geffen confirmed Thursday that Neil Jordan has signed to write and direct “Interview With a Vampire.” Though no casting was announced, the movie will begin production in April. Jordan said he will rework a screenplay Anne Rice wrote from her 1976 novel “to strengthen its dramatic spine from a filmmaking standpoint.” Warner Bros. will distribute the Geffen Films production and Stephen Wooley, who has worked on three of Jordan’s films including the recent hit “The Crying Game,” will produce.
