HOME DELIVERY: The county animal control shelter has a new service this year to make it easier for you to spare your cat or dog being put to sleep. . . . If your pet has been sent to the shelter and you don’t have time to pick it up, you can ask the shelter to deliver the animal to your home. . . . There’s a $15 fee on top of the usual $25 impound fee. But a shelter spokesman says many are asking for the home deliveries.
