A PLEA TO SAVE THE CHILDREN
Wanda Coleman’s “A Rap for Brandon” (Three on the Town, Dec. 20) was a heartbreaker. A lot of kids just need a break and some help to straighten out.
I benefited greatly from some kindly strangers’ concern when I was a kid. Many young men are worth saving. Unfortunately, they generally never get the chance and don’t make it. To paraphrase Dan Quayle, a life is a terrible thing to waste!
