Discover Living History in Your Classroom: Presented by Discovery Museum of Orange County from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Discovery Museum, 3101 W. Harvard St., Santa Ana. A hands-on teacher’s workshop focusing on activities, costumes and handmade artifacts that can help bring history alive in the classroom. Call (714) 540-0404.

Teachers’ Training Workshop on Mainstreaming Disabled Students: Presented by Irvine Fine Arts Center on March 13 at a time to be announced. The workshop will help art instructors learn how to work with disabled pupils in a mainstream class situation. Call Tim Jahns at (714) 552-1018.

Bring the Museum Into Your Classroom: Presented by the Newport Harbor Art Museum from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. March 16. Ways to involve pupils in classroom activities that support and prepare them for the kind of experience they can have in a museum with original works of art. Call (714) 759-1122.

Flights of Fancy: Presented by the Children’s Museum at La Habra from 4 to 6 p.m. April 21. Learn how to make windsocks, hang gliders, weather vanes, whirlygigs, butterflies and flags that enable pupils to create classroom projects. Call (310) 905-9793.
