Aurora Electronics Inc.: The Irvine electronics components recycling company said it posted first-quarter net income of $1.1 million, or 21 cents a share. That contrasts with a net loss of $2.9 million, or 62 cents a share, which included a loss of $2.7 million, or 59 cents a share, from discontinued operations. Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 totaled $14.2 million. In the year-ago period, the company said it didn’t post sales because it discontinued all of the company’s prior businesses.
