Access HealthNet Signs Distribution Deals

Share

Access HealthNet, a Westlake Village firm that provides computer hardware and software to link hospitals, doctors and clinical laboratories, has signed several deals for distribution of its LabAccess and RemoteAccess systems.

One agreement, with CRT Management Inc. of Detroit, guarantees at least $500,000 in purchases of Access products in the first year of a five-year contract. CRT will distribute the systems in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

CRT will phase out marketing its own systems in favor of selling the Access products, said Access President Keith M. Berman.

Distribution deals have also been signed with companies in Washington state and Florida, reported Access Vice President Michael McMahon.

And, McMahon said, Access expects to announce another two agreements soon, with firms in Arizona and Louisiana. “We’re especially excited about the Arizona arrangement,” he said. “It should provide us with sales ranging from $1 million to $3 million a year.”

Access, founded in 1988, has 30 employees.
