Suspended Titans Can Play Saturday
Four suspended Cal State Fullerton basketball players returned to practice Thursday and will play in Saturday night’s Big West Conference game against UC Irvine, Titan Coach Brad Holland said.
Starting center Sean Williams, forward Kim Kemp and point guard Aaron Sunderland, and backup guard Sharif Metoyer, were suspended by Holland this week for violating team rules while the team was in Reno, Nev., over the weekend.
“I haven’t decided how much they will play, or if they will start, but they will suit up Saturday,” Holland said. “They are working their way back--it’s just a matter of time.”
Without the four, the Titans’ 12-game home winning streak ended Wednesday with a 77-63 loss to Houston.
