ANTELOPE VALLEY : NASA Engineers to Visit 22 Schools
NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Facility at Edwards Air Force Base will send a team of nearly two dozen engineers to 22 schools in the Antelope Valley next week to celebrate National Engineers Week.
The engineers will spend class periods with sixth- through ninth-grade students, demonstrating science projects and speaking about engineering careers and the importance of the students’ studies.
The engineers will visit seven districts in the Los Angeles County portion of the Antelope Valley between Tuesday and Friday. The districts are Antelope Valley High School, Eastside, Keppel, Lancaster, Palmdale, Westside and Wilsona.
