FICKLE HOLLYWOOD: “The Cheshire Moon,” the new novel by Robert Ferrigno which has a Seal Beach killer, is already generating interest from Hollywood (E1). But what became of the movie that was supposed to be made of “The Horse Latitudes,” Ferrigno’s highly acclaimed first novel, which also included Orange County scenes? Ferrigno, formerly from Santa Ana and now living in Kirkland, Wash., says Tri-Star Pictures optioned it and four separate screenplays were written “but none of them really worked out.”
