The Cos Is Back: Bill Cosby, who rode atop the ratings for several years and propelled NBC into a leadership position during the 1980s, will be back on that network for the 1993-94 season. Cosby will star in four two-hour “light mystery” movies, which in turn will be spun off into a weekly hourlong mystery series the following year. In announcing the project on Thursday, NBC’s new West Coast president, Don Ohlmeyer, said, “as we set out to re-energize and reinvigorate NBC, it’s only appropriate that the first step be with Bill Cosby.”
