Joggers running after the latest high-tech treads can expect to pay $200 or more when Reebok’s InstaPump and Adidas’ Tubular Technology hit stores this year.

The sneakers, featured at a trade show earlier this month, make standard $150 pumps look passe: The InstaPump features a carbon dioxide cartridge to custom-fit the shoe to the foot; the Tubular is equipped with a switch-operated air pressure gauge.
