Phil Collins, Don Was, Graham Nash, Jackson Browne and Marc Cohn are among the guest performers, producers and writers on David Crosby’s “Thousand Roads” album, due May 1. . . . SBK Records has signed Bloodline, a band featuring drummer Erin Davis (the son of late jazz great Miles Davis), guitarist Waylon Krieger (the son of Doors guitarist Robby Krieger) and bassist Berry Oakley Jr. (son of the late Allman Brothers bassist). Recording of a debut album will begin after the band completes a brief tour. . . .

Stevie Nicks’ next album, originally expected in early April, has been put on indefinite hold. . . . Problems getting clearances for some of the artists has delayed release of Epic’s rap rhymes collection, with Tone-Loc and Mellow Man Ace among those doing raps geared to the pre-teen set. Epic had hoped to release the collection last fall to capture some of the holiday trade, but now it’s planned for April 6. . . .

Boyz II Men has caught “unplugged” fever. The R&B; vocal group is arranging an unplugged session that will wind up as its next album, featuring mostly old material. It’s due in April or May. The group’s next album of new material won’t be ready until the end of the year at the earliest. . . . Natalie Cole is in the studio at work on her follow-up to the hit album “Unforgettable,” tentatively set for May. She’s decided to go with orchestrated, romantic ‘40s-’60s standards again. No word yet on whether she’ll do more of her dad’s oldies. . . .

Former Jane’s Addiction guitarist David Navarro handled all the lead guitar work on L.A. group Sun-60’s second album, “Only,” due in mid-April. Scott Litt (R.E.M.) produced and drummer Jack Irons (an ex-Red Hot Chili Pepper) also guests. . . .

Alice in Chains got assistance from guitarist Jerry Cantrell’s father, Jerry Sr., for its new video for the song “Rooster,” inspired by his two tours of duty in Vietnam. Cantrell Sr., whose nickname is Rooster, helped choose war footage to use in the clip. . . .

Fine Young Cannibals singer Roland Gift resurfaces as an actor with a guest role in the syndicated TV series “The Highlander.” His episode airs in L.A. on KTLA Channel 5 next Sunday. . . .

English rockers Suede, named band of the year by Melody Maker magazine on the strength of just two independent singles, have a debut album due from Columbia at the end of March. . . .

In the mold of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Remainders--the band of authors including Stephen King and Amy Tam that performed last year at the American Booksellers Convention, the Imminent Disaster Blues Band, featuring L.A.-area rock critics, will debut March 2 at the Sunset Social Club in West Hollywood. Among those in the band are Bruce Haring and Rich Martini of Daily Variety, Johnny Angel of the L.A. Weekly and Capitol Records vice president of corporate publicity Bob Bernstein.
