Hear the ‘Call’

Reba McEntire continues to prove that she’s the only female country artist in a league with Wynonna Judd, able to score high on The Times’ Southern California country and pop charts. McEntire’s album “It’s Your Call” is second on the country Top 10, while Judd’s nearly year-old album, “Wynonna,” is still No. 6. Garth Brooks, with three albums, dominates the chart, as usual. Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” album didn’t benefit much--in this region anyway-- from his appearance with Oprah Winfrey. The album went from No. 16 to No. 9.
