A 21-year-old Lake Forest woman and two friends were arrested Saturday on suspicion of chasing down and shooting a man after an argument, sheriff’s deputies said.

Andra Terrell Boyd, 25, suffered a minor gunshot wound after arguing with Lena Delacey Boyd, officials said.

The two reportedly began quarreling about 10 a.m. after Andra Boyd went to Lena Boyd’s apartment in the 23000 block of Village Drive to pick up his 3-year-old daughter. Andra Boyd ran from the apartment without his daughter, followed by Lena Boyd and two of her friends.

They chased Andra Boyd in their car a few blocks and cornered him in a cul-de-sac on Dartmouth Circle, said Lt. Larry Richey.

Lena Boyd allegedly got out of the car and fired a 9-millimeter handgun about seven times. Andra Boyd was struck once in the arm.

A short time later, a sheriff’s helicopter spotted Lena Boyd’s car in the northbound lanes of the Santa Ana Freeway near Culver Drive, where she was stopped and arrested.

Her friends, Gregory Lamar Chappel, 24, and Yvette Stoutamire, 25, were arrested in the Village Drive apartment. The 3-year-old girl was taken to Orangewood Children’s Home in Orange.

The three suspects were booked in Orange County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Richey said.

The shooting victim was treated at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills and released.
