Two Trains Crash in Fog; Crewman Is Killed

FAIRMONT, Okla. —
Two trains crashed at a foggy railroad intersection in north-central Oklahoma early Sunday, killing one crewman and injuring three, officials said.
The accident involved trains of the Santa Fe railroad and the Burlington Northern line. Neither train carried hazardous materials.
Trooper Lynn Holman said the Santa Fe crew failed to promptly see red flashing lights because of heavy fog.
