Aerospace Exec to Head Space Station Efforts

Seymour Z. Rubenstein has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president for manned space projects at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace in Huntington Beach. He will focus on McDonnell Douglas’ Space Station Freedom activities and will be responsible for space station operations at Huntington Beach, Houston and Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Rubenstein has been president of Systems Resources Solutions Inc., a consulting company focusing on the development and management of advanced technology projects. He previously served as president of Rockwell International’s space transportation systems division.
