Condor D.C. Power Supplies Inc., an Oxnard firm that produces electrical equipment used in computers, medical testing devices and manufacturing, has been acquired by SL Industries Inc. of Mt. Laurel, N.J.

The deal is expected to lead to additional growth at Condor, which has annual sales of more than $14 million and 450 employees at plants in Oxnard and Mexicali, Mexico.

“We’re looking forward to expanding rapidly,” said Paul Chapman, Condor’s regional sales manager. “Sales are strong, and I’m sure we’ll be hiring at both locations.”
