Davis Changes His Style: How About His Uniform?

Share

So Eric Davis has told reporters (Feb. 22) that he is going to change his style of play. No more running into walls or diving for balls. That’s nice. Next he’ll be telling us that he is afraid of tripping or pulling a leg muscle. He’ll decide not to run to first after every hit. Give me a break!

I’ve got a great idea. Dump him. Trade him. Sell him. Give him away to any American League team that will have him. It sounds as if he’s ready to become a designated hitter. I’ll bet there are hundreds of minor leaguers who would love to play for the Dodgers, “running into walls or diving for balls.”
